ABOUT REBECCA

Becoming a Nutritionist and Personal Trainer was a complete career change for me after being in the corporate world.

I had spent my life with weight fluctuations, dieting and trying different exercise.  I wanted to start living a healthier life, and to show my three daughters you can start anything at anytime, no matter your age, which inspired me to study my Cert III & IV in Fitness at the Australian Institute of Fitness, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine and a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Nutrition, at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies (Torrens University).

In 2019, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease, a condition of the thyroid and an autoimmune disease.  Autoimmune diseases run far and wide in my family, so I have a keen interest and knowledge in this area.

Now living with "hashies", I've had to learn to exercise and eat a little differently to what I was before.  It's a slow and long road to recovery, but I'm determined to try and get there.  It has fueled my passion to help my clients with autoimmune diseases, as well as weight loss, depression and mental health, addictions, and reducing their environmental and personal toxic loads.

I have a passion for food, health and healing practices, which work in harmony with the mind, body and soul, and a desire to help clients discover how a balanced way of eating can prevent and treat many conditions, promote longevity and positively influence energy and concentration levels.

If you are looking for ways to increase your energy, lose weight, or need help with a minor or serious health challenge, then I can work with you to create a manageable plan that will take into consideration your lifestyle, career and current health status either through a nutrition consultation or personal training sessions.
